Everyone who knows me knows how I LOVE to knit. I knit nearly everywhere I go
and seldom do you see me sitting anywhere without a knitting project.
I've been making soft, pretty practical
sweaters for my poodles, puppies who are flying into cold weather and friend's poodles for years. Now I'm going to
offer some of these sweaters to y'all for your babies.
Sweaters are not just for cold weather. Use one in
the morning when the air is still cool and damp, use one for an older dog who takes a chill, warm up a sick baby, for a poodle
who has just gotten a shorter haircut...there are many different uses for a nice, soft sweater. I have had older poodles who
just wore one all the time because they love them.
You can buy store-boughtsweaters, and you can buy less expensive
sweaters made in China. But the fit is usually not right and the colors are sometimes a little - well, odd!
The
hoodie sweater you see above is made of bulky stitched acrylic. It is eminently washable, soft and warm. It is available in
the burgundy shown above. Sized in medium, it will fit most toy poodles 10-11" tall.
